We are the only Kongsberg Maritime Training Centre on the eastern seaboard of North America. Our mission is to provide quality training in Kongsberg dynamic positioning and reference systems. Our technical lab and classroom is fully equipped with the latest Kongsberg Systems. Attendees interact with true to life equipment and simulated scenarios to achieve pre-determined learning objectives.

About the Training Center

Well equipped training center with training equipment for waterjets A-series and FF-series, hydraulics and control systems Vector Control and Roccs. The training centre is utilized to train both customers and Kongsberg personnel how to use, serve and maintain the equipment with real hands on training.

We offer a blended teaching technique with a combination of e-learning, classroom, workshop, control system simulators and on board training. This enables us to provide strategic learning solutions matched to your needs. By offering your crew a combination of learning methods, they will be able to gain the necessary skills through the right learning solution.

Well equipped training center with training equipment for Azimuth thruster Contaz, UL, US, UUC and Aquapilot control systems. The training centre is utilized to train both customers and Kongsberg personnel how to use, serve and maintain the equipment with real hands on training.

About the Training Center

We are one of two Kongsberg Maritime Training Centres in Horten. The training centre features four training rooms and two technical laboratories. We offer a portfolio of training courses in specialist areas including our subsea products, Dynamic Positioning and Navigation products.

We offer both open standard and tailor made courses for the use and maintenance of our products.​

We are situated directly on the waterfront, with access to our own research vessel. The vessel is available for practical training when appropriate. We also have access to a sheltered test area on the water, where we can perform demonstrations and hands-on training when required.

About the Training Center

Our Training Centre is located in Trondheim, Norway, the maritime technology centre of Norway - in close proximity to Sintef Ocean (Marintek) and Sintef / NTNU.

Our Grilstad training centre utilizes state-of-the-art simulators and competence to provide maritime operational courses and simulation of marine operations. Our permanent staff of highly qualified engineers, together with our senior master mariners, DPOs and crane operators, constitute a unique blend of theoretical and practical operative experience. Our goal is to be the preferred operative partner for the Maritime industry for identification of procedure improvements and high quality training for safer maritime operations.

Kongsberg Maritime’s Busan Training Centre delivers a portfolio of courses in: Automation; Position and Reference Systems; and Radar and Navigation Systems.

Located in the northeast of Busan, our training centre supports customers of Kongsberg systems, by offering a portfolio of courses in specialist areas including: automation; position and reference systems; and radar and navigation systems. KMKOR Training centre is located next to the Busan Kongsberg office and consists of modern comfortable 5 classrooms equipped with the same computers and consoles found on board. Extensive computer simulation provides a realistic training environment, ensuring that you become familiar with operation, and handling of emergencies.

The training centre at Kongsberg Maritime Middle East office in Dubai supports customers of Kongsberg systems by offering a portfolio of courses in specialist areas such as dynamic positioning (including Nautical Institute accredited DPO courses) and marine automation for Offshore, LNG and Merchant applications.  We offer both standard and tailor made courses that teach the use and maintenance of our products.

KMME are set up to provide Technical training which combines a blend of theoretical and practical "hands on" situations, carried out on a range of current and relevant test equipment with similar Kongsberg system architecture as found on modern vessels.
